Green For All Fellow

Rich in culture and history, the young college students of Liberty City community took a stand today by participating in the community revitalization service project picking up litter in the neighborhoods surrounding Miami-Dade College Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center and gaining valuable information about the green movement at the resource fair afterward. 

We began our day with the director of the Entrepreneurial Center, H. Leigh Toney, and myself giving speeches about the significance of this day followed by a beautiful rendition of 'America the Beautiful' sung by a local artist Marian Terry and a moment of silence for those who were taken on Sept. 11th, 2001.
